Gladys L. (Howick) Reed, age 92 of 801 E. Market St. in Celina, Ohio passed away at 2:11a.m. on Friday February, 18, 2011 at the Gardens at Celina. She was born on July 15, 1918 in Mercer County to the late Christy & Mary (Baxter) Howick. On Oct. 25, 1939 she married Joseph H. Reed, who died Dec. 10, 1984. Survivors include her sons Dr. Nicholas E. Reed of Lake Placid, Florida, James Reed of Celina, Fredrick A. May of Floriday, daughter Susan E. Reed of Celina, six Grandchildren and six Great-Grandchildren. Gladys was employed at Huffys Bicycle for 26 years and then she became a Cafeteria Worker for the Celina City Schools. Private family services will be held at the convenience of the family. The Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina is handling arrangements. Condolences may be made at LHDfuneralhome.com.
