Gerald H. 99 Knapke age 60 of Maria Stein, Ohio passed away at his sisters residence on Wednesday August 17, 2011. He was born in Coldwater on January 12, 1951 to the late Leander & Elenora (Hartings) Knapke. He is survived by brothers & sisters, Rosemary & Tony Fullenkamp, Ft. Loramie, Rita & Bob Niekamp, New Bremen, Ann & David Long, Findlay, Emily & Charles Flanagan, Maria Stein, Ivo & Pam Knapke, Maria Stein, twin brother Tom Knapke, Maria Stein, sister-in-law Mary Knapke, Maria Stein, 28 nephews & nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Louis Knapke & brother-in-law Michael Koesters. He was a graduate of Marion Local High School in 1969 and was employed at Dynamic Weld in Osgood, OH and a longtime farmer. Graveside services will be held 10:30 AM, Saturday, August 20 at St. John Cemetery, Maria Stein. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster, OH from 4 to 8 PM on Friday, August 19, 2011.
