Gerald & Barbara Thomas

Gerald A. (Jerry) & Barbara J. (Barb) Thomas of Tavares, Florida. Jerry passed away Friday, February 25, 2022 and Barb passed away on Friday January 13, 2023.

Jerry was born July 20, 1940, in Dayton, Ohio to Thomas A. Thomas and Cora Mae (Mann). On February 19, 1966, he married Barbara J. Brunswick at Sts. Peter and Paul Church in Newport, OH.

Barb was born September 28, 1945, in Fort Loramie, Ohio to Theodore (Hap) Brunswick and Verna Brunswick (Hope). On February 19, 1966, she married Gerald (Jerry) Thomas at Sts. Peter and Paul Church in Newport, OH, where she was a life-long member.

They are survived by Sons: Christopher (Chris) of Conroe, TX, and Eric (Rick) of Sanford, FL; and Jerry’s brothers Owen (Bud) of Garrettsville, and Eugene (Gene) of Englewood, Barb’s sister Joanne (Joey) Dues of Houston, and many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Newport, Ohio. Burial will follow in Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
