Gale Burch

Gale Burch age 69, of Meranda Rd. Anna, OH died Monday, October 30, 2023 at Heritage Manor, Minster.  He was born May 3, 1954 in Sidney, Ohio to the late Daniel “Buss” & Betty Jean Burch.  He is survived by his stepmother Cheryl Burch. He married Ruth Ann Hoying on October 5, 1984 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, McCartyville and she preceded him in death on September 30, 2012.  He is survived by children Andrew & Lauren Burch and Rebecca & Grant Gehret, both of Anna, grandchildren: Eli Burch, Grady, Eva, Hazel& Cora Gehret, brothers & sister: Doug & Kay Burch, Jackson Center, Dan & Marcia Burch, Lakeview, Tim & Holly Burch, Lakeview & Joyce & Ron Carr, Pittsburgh, PA brother-in-law & sisters-in-law Mark & June Hoying, Angie & Tom Albers, Anita & Jack Billing all of McCartyville. He was preceded in death by his mother and father and his father-in-law & mother-in-law: Cletus & Mary Ruth Hoying. He was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, McCartyville.  He enjoyed all sports, especially basketball and loved visiting with people. He retired from Honda. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM Friday, November 3, 2023 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, McCartyville with Rev. John Tonkin celebrant. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home Minster from 4 to 7 PM on Thursday and at SACRED HEART CHURCH from 9 to 10 AM Friday. Burial will be Sacred Heart Cemetery.
