Floyd Wayne Highley, age 92, of 9258 Hoenie Rd. in Celina, Ohio passed away at 3:10p.m. on Monday, November 26, 2012 at Laurels of Shane Hill Rockford, Ohio. He was born on August 27, 1920 in Celina , Ohio to the late Simmeon and Pearl (Cook) Highley. On Feb. 23, 1946 he married Margaret (Kuhn), who lives in Celina. Also surviving are his two sons & daughters-in-law Randy & Kim Highley of Celina, Doug & Becci Highley of Celina, one daughter & son-in-law Patty & Bud Schoenleben of Celina, 8 Grandchildren and 14 Great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brothers Carl & Freda Highley and Kenneth Highley. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina. He was a lifelong farmer in Mercer County, having farmed both grains and Livestock. He enjoyed his friendships and his grandchildren. Floyd loved to attend a good auction and was a member of the Neptune Elevator Round Table. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday Nov. 30, 2012 at the St. Teresa Catholic Church in Rockford, Ohio, with Fr. Kenneth Schnipke C.PP.S. officiating. Burial will follow in Friends Cemetery in Rockford, Ohio. Friends may call from 2-8p.m. on Thursday at the Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina.
