Florian G. Heitkamp, age 78, of Fleetfoot Rd, Celina, Ohio, died on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at St. Ritas Medical Center, Lima, Ohio. He was born September 29, 1934 in Trinity, IN to the late Henry and Thresia (Homan) Heitkamp. On September 12, 1959 he married Virginia (Kunkler) and she survives in Celina, Ohio. Florian is survived by seven children Bob Heitkamp of Celina, Carol & Keith Jones of Maria Stein, Marilyn & George Epperson, of Russia, Mark Heitkamp of Celina, David Heitkamp of Newport News, VA, Diane & Brent Smith, Portland, MI and Marie & Jason Broering of St. Henry, 14 grandchildren, three sisters Janet Luthman of Minster, Verene & Victor Kramer of Osgood and Joan & Ron Buschur of Celina and in-laws Dorothy Schott of Ft. Wayne, IN, Ralph Kunkler of Carthagena, Stella & Herb Siefring of Coldwater, Henry Jr. & Ruth Kunkler of Burkettsville, Joann Kunkler of Carthagena and Evelyn Kunkler of New Weston. He is preceded in death by a brother Lavern Heitkamp and in-laws Don Luthman, Ted & Martha Kunkler, Rosemary & Warren Olson, Robert Schott, Don Kunkler and Fred Kunkler. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Coldwater and the former Catholic Order of Foresters in St. Anthony, Ohio. He was a retired farmer. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM on Wednesday, October 03, 2012 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater. Burial will follow in St. Anthony Cemetery, St. Anthony Ohio.
