Evelyn C. Eiting age 84 formerly of Eiting Rd. Minster, Ohio and was in Otterbein St. Marys for 1 ½ years, died 2:00 AM Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at Otterbein St., Marys. She was born December 1, 1927 in Maria Stein, Ohio to the late William & Mary (Buening) Overman. She married Wilmer "Bud" Eiting on March 3, 1962. He preceded her in death on April 11, 1973. She is survived by her daughter Elaine & Eric Roemer of Ancona, IL, grandchildren Jason & Isaac, sister; Joanne Vondenhueval, New Bremen, sister-in-law Mary Ann Overman, St. Marys, brother-in-law Kenneth Eiting, Minster, sister-in-law Ethel Joyce, Vandalia. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and brothers & sister: Irene Lallemand, Leroy Overman, Victor Overman, Eugene Overman, and Edgar Overman. She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster. Evelyn was a collector of Precious Moments, Beanie Babies & figurines and she loved her grandsons. She was a homemaker at the farm, a nanny in Dayton, worked at White Mountain Creamery and retired from Goodyear. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 Saturday, April 28, 2012 at St. Augustine Catholic Church with Rev. Rick Nieberding celebrant. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, April 27, and from 8:30 to 9:15 AM on Saturday, April, 29. Burial will take place in St. Augustine Cemetery.
