Eugene R. Romer

Eugene R. Romer, age 88, of Fairborn, died Monday, January 18, 2021 at Trinity Community at Fairborn. He was born August 16, 1932 in Burkettsville to the late Werner and Mary (Smith) Romer.  On August 26, 1995 he married Mary Romer and she died February 10, 2014. He is survived by children, Mike Romer of Centerville, Kelly Romer of Cedarville, Andrew Romer of Centerville and Joy Koehler of Medway; 6 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren. Sister, Lois Kimbrel of Long Beach, CA. He is preceded in death by a brother Paul Romer.

He was a member of Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Fairborn and Coldwater V.F.W. post 5135. Gene was a veteran of the US Army serving in Korea.

Graveside services with military rites will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, January 22, 2021 at St. Henry Cemetery.  Condolences may be left at hogenkampfh.com .
