Elsie E. Leugers age 102, formerly of the Little Red School House north of McCartyville died 9:30 PM Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at the Meadows at Ottawa Glandorf. She was a residence in Ottawa for 15 years with her daughter and at the Meadows. She was born March 3, 1909 in Minster to the late Frank & Rose (Thieman) Wacker. She married Norbert W. Leugers on October 9, 1946 in Minster, Ohio. He preceded her in death on November 11, 1995. She is survived by son Greg & Mary Leugers of Sylvania, OH and daughter Paula & Kenneth Elchinger, Ottawa, OH; grandchildren Erin & Jason Miller, Glandorf, Erica & Tim Sarka, Gladorf, Paul & Jennifer Elchinger, Tipp City, Christopher Elchinger, Cincinnati; great grandchildren Logan, Morgan, Reagan Miller & Jade Sarka. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Gerald in 1956 & brother Karl Wacker. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church, McCartyville, and a religion teacher for 17 years. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, June 17, 2011 at 10:30 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, McCartyville, OH with Rev. John Tonkin celebrant. Friends may call at SACRED HEART CHURCH from 4 to 8 PM on Thursday, June 16, 2011 and from 9 to 10 AM on Friday, June 17, 2011. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, McCartyville, OH.
