Elmer T. White, age 84, of 1127 Princeton Ave. in Celina, passed away at 4:27p.m. on Wednesday February 27, 2013 at the Gardens at Celina. He was born on October 11, 1928 in Black Creek Township to the late Elmer C. & Violet (Steen) White. On November 24, 1949 he married Helen Marie Edinger, who lives in Celina. Also surviving are his children Linda (Ken) Doner of Celina, Bob (Joan) White of Sidney, Mary (Paul) Grandlienard of Bluffton, IN., Nancy (Daniel) Wheeler of Celina, 10 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, brother Charles White of Willshire, and a sister Vera (Vernon) Kuhn of Rockford. He was preceded in death by his son Mark White, an infant sister Nora Pearl White and his sister-in-law Helen Jean White. Elmer graduated from Coldwater High School with the class of 1946. He was a member of AFSCME Council #8 Union In Sidney. He was a Self Employed Construction Worker and Retired from the State Highway Department of Ohio in 1994. He Loved Eldora Speedway and was an avid Racing Fan. Private Family services will be held at the family's convenience. The Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
