Ellen Ashbrook

Ellen Ashbrook, age 62 of Fort Loramie, Ohio, died at 4:43 AM on Friday, May 5, 2023 at her home in Fort Loramie, Ohio. She was born on September 20, 1960 in St. Marys, Ohio to the late Thomas & Erma (Riethman) Barlage. She married Alan Ashbrook on February 27, 1981 in St. Michael Catholic Church, Fort Loramie and he survives in Fort Loramie. She is also survived by children & grandchildren: Phillip & Shanda Ashbrook their children; Wyatt, Levi, Emmett & Garrett, all of Piqua, Kelli & Andrew Fishback and their children; Lilly & Claire all of Liberty Township, Ohio, brothers & sisters; Linda & Rip VanWinkle, Fort Loramie, Roger & Cheryl Barlage, New Bremen, Joyce & Terry Mumaw, Fort Loramie, Anita & Vern Kremer, Chickasaw, Russ & Tina Barlage, Troy, Gail & Chad Berning, Minster. She was a member of St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, and a Fort Loramie High School graduate. She was a housekeeper at Holiday Inn, Sidney for 25 years. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Fort Loramie with burial to follow in St. Michael Cemetery. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Minster on Tuesday, May 9, from 4 to 7 PM and from 9:00 to 10:00 AM on Wednesday.
