Elizabeth J. Feltz

July 17, 1938 — October 14, 2024

Elizabeth J. Feltz, age 86, of St. Henry, died on Monday, October 14, 2024, at The Gardens at St. Henry, surrounded by family.  Betty was born July 17, 1938, in North Star, Ohio to the late Frank & Hedwig (Schulze) Huber.  On November 5, 1960, she married Anthony Feltz, and he preceded her in death on November 7, 2013.

Betty is survived by seven children and their spouses, Bruce & Jennifer Feltz of Versailles, Michael & Janice Feltz of St. Henry, David & Michelle Feltz of Columbus, Cindy & Kevin Heitkamp of Coldwater, Thomas & Laura Feltz of St. Henry, Terrence & Michelle Feltz of Versailles, Gary Feltz & Christina Bruns of Saline, MI, and a daughter-in-law Pam Feltz of St. Henry.  Other surviving family members include 21 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, a brother and his wife, Paul & Barb Huber, and in-laws: Diane Huber, Donald “Red” Feltz, Barb Wenning, and Kathy Feltz.

In addition to her parents and husband, Betty is preceded in death by a son, Mark Feltz, a granddaughter Brooke Heitkamp, as well as siblings and in-laws: Eleanor & Virgil Schoenlein, Rita & Melvin Stammen, Dolores & Lavern Rindler, Ruth & Carl Stammen, Dorothy & Othor Barga, Mildred & Elmer Siefring, Norb Huber, Pete & Dorothy Huber, Frank Huber, Louis & Jane Huber, Wilbur & Alice Feltz, Alice Feltz, Virginia & Earl Schlater, Harold Feltz, Eugene Boeckman, and Ken Wenning, and her father and mother-in-law Oscar & Anna Feltz.

Betty was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church, in St. Henry.  She formerly worked at Coopers in St. Henry.  Betty loved tending to her flowers and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She was also an avid fan of the Cincinnati Reds.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30am on Monday, October 21, 2024, at St. Henry Catholic Church.  Following the funeral mass, burial will take place in St. Henry Cemetery.  Friends and family may call from 1:00pm – 5:00pm on Sunday, October 20, and from 9:00 – 10:00am on Monday, October 21, at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in St. Henry.  Memorial Contributions may be made to EverHeart Hospice or The Gardens at St. Henry.  Condolences for the family may be expressed in person or at hogenkampfh.com.
