Edward H. Grieshop

Edward H. Grieshop age 88, of Anna, Ohio died on Sunday, October 18, 2026 at Ohio Dorothy Love in Sidney, Ohio. He was born on April 3, 1938 in Maria Stein, Ohio to the late Fred & Catherine (Bergman) Grieshop. He married Josephine Fortkamp on October 7, 1967 and she preceded him in death on March 27, 2020. He is survived by sisters: Bernadine Grieshop, Tipp City, Joan Rodgers, Mason, Angela Platfoot, Tipp City, brother-in-law Jan Schmiesing, Fort Loramie and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by siblings and in-laws: Rita & Roman Schoenlein, John Grieshop, Frederick Grieshop, Mary & Lawrence Bruns, Paul & Brbara Grieshop, Richard Rodgers, Carol Schmiesing, and Bill Platfoot. Edward was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, McCartyville and retired from Stolle Corporation and a lifelong farmer. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM Thursday, October 22, 2026, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, McCartyville, Ohio. Burial will follow in Sacred heart Cemetery. Friends may call at the SACRED HEART CHURCH on Thursday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
