Edward Egbert age 73 of Sharlotte, NC died on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 in Sharlotte, NC. He was born May 26, 1940 in Sidney, Ohio to the late Verlin & Kathryn (Glass) Egbert. He is survived by daughters Tina Kimble, Dayton, OH & Tammy Egbert, Sidney, OH & son Roger Egbert, 7 grandchildren & 7 great grandchildren, sister Joyce & Nick Hoying, Minster, OH. He was preceded in death by a son Gregory & daughter Lisa. He was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Sharlotte, NC, former member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, McCartyville. He was also a member of the Sidney Elks. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, McCartyville with Rev. Barry Stechschulte celebrant. Friends may call at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, McCartyville from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM on Tuesday. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to Sharlotte Hospice.
