Dorothy M. Stover, age 88, of 523 N. Mill St. Celina, Ohio passed away at 7:15 a.m. on Tuesday Oct. 23, 2012 at the Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center. She was born on July 7, 1924 to the late Albert & Nora (Fortman) Mersman in Celina, Ohio. On June 21, 1947 she married William Alvin Stover Sr. , who passed away on May 2, 2005. Survivors include her sons & daughters-in-law William "Bill" & Janet Stover of Celina, Bob & Helen Stover of Celina, daughter Mary Jane Stover of Cincinnati, 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, granddaughter Jennifer Stover, brothers & sisters-in-law Tom & Dib Mersman, Paul & Helen Mersman, Fred & Helen Mersman, sisters & brothers-in-law Rita & John Gibbons, Mary & Walter Vanderhorst, Ruth Mersman, and Helen Mersman. Dorothy graduated from I. C. High School in 1942. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina and a member of the Altar Rosary Sodality. She was formerly employed at the Celina Insurance Group and JC Penney's. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30a.m. on Friday Oct 26, 2012 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with Fr. Ken Alt C.PP.S. officiating. Burial will follow in St. Marys Catholic Cemetery in Celina. Friends may call from 4-8p.m. on Thursday Oct. 25, 2012 and before 10:00a.m. on Friday Oct. 26, 2012 at the Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina.
