Dorothy Francis

Dorothy Francis age 74, of Anna, Ohio, died at 5:48 PM on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at Wilson Hospital. She was born on August 11, 1944 in Newcastle, England to the late David & Alice (Belford) Roberts.  She married Norbert Francis on April 2, 1988 in Gatlinburg, TN.  He survives in Anna. She is also survived children: Zia & Rubina Syed, Union KY, Saira Ruth & Matthew Ward, Sidney, Christopher & Angela Francis, Raeford, NC, Paul & Karen Francis, Sidney, 15 grandchildren: Alisha, Rizwan, Nasim Syed, Christina, Danielle Silverthorn, Matthew, Alex Ward, Ashley Hughes, Tristan, Evelyn Francis, Taylor Horne, Brock, Jonah Francis, Arielle Hendricks, Ashton Syed, 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son Waqar H. Syed and brother David Roberts.  Dorothy was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, McCartyville.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM on Monday, September 24, 2018 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, McCartyville with Rev. Steve Mondiek celebrant, burial to follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.  Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster from 1 PM to 7 PM on Sunday September 23, and at SACRED HEART CHURCH Monday, September 24 from 9 AM to 10 AM.  In Lieu of Flowers the family requests donations be made to the American Lung Association.
