Donna J. Walls, age 87, of Celina, Ohio passed away at 4:45p.m. on Sunday Oct. 20, 2013 at The Otterbein St. Marys Retirement Community, in St. Marys, Ohio. She was born on Sept. 5, 1926 in Venedocia, Ohio to the late Dan and Almeda (Bennett) Couts. On Dec. 21, 1946 she married Dewane Walls, who died Oct. 14, 2002. Survivors include her sons & daughters-in-law Robert & Marie Walls of Coldwater, Dennis & Adele Walls of St. Marys, 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, sisters and brother-in-law Betty Medaugh of Van Wert, Mary & Gene Jerome of Columbia City, IN, sisters-in-law Pat Couts of Van Wert, Shirley Roediger of Neptune, Lois Feasby of Convoy, Eleanor Feasby of New Haven, IN, Sue John of Van Wert, brothers-in-law Gene & Jeanette Walls of Mendon, Don and Arlene Walls of New Philadelphia, Gary and Sharon Walls of Mercer and Wilber Stoll of Florida. Donna was preceded in death by her brothers and sister-in-law Ray & Shirley Couts, Jay Couts, her sister & brothers-in-law Julia and Gale High, William Medaugh, and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law David Walls, Dorothy Stoll, Curtis and Alice Parnell, Stan Roediger, Gayle Feasby and Verlin Feasby. Donna attended Venedocia High School. She was a member of the Bethany United Methodist Church in Celina. She formerly worked for the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in St. Marys. Donna especially enjoyed her family, friends, her dog Benji, traveling, eating out, shopping, talking on the phone, collecting elephants, church family and homemaking. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday Oct. 24, 2013 at the Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina, with Rev. John Exman officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Rockford. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday Oct. 23, 2013 and 1 hour before services on Thursday at the Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina.
