Donald W. (Quack) Stachler, age 71, of Philothea Rd, Coldwater OH, died on Friday, July 29, 2011 at Good Samaritan Hospital, Dayton, Ohio. He was born May 01, 1940 in Montezuma, Ohio to Edmund and Dorothy (Ahrns) Stachler. On November 10, 1962 he married Patricia (Garman) in Chickasaw, Ohio and she survives in Coldwater, Ohio. Donald is survived by five children Donna Coats, Coldwater, Ohio, Jeff & Peggy Stachler, Lawrenceville, GA, Scott Stachler, Coldwater, Ohio, Brenda & Charlie Schlarman, Wendelin, Ohio and Eric & Kelly Stachler, Coldwater, Ohio, seven grandchildren and seven siblings, Dolores & Dale Droesch, Coldwater, Ohio, Dennis & Phyllis Stachler, Burkettsville, Ohio, Darrell & Patricia Stachler, Cincinnati, Ohio, Dianna Hemmelgarn, Versailles, Ohio, Dale Stachler, Greenville, Ohio Duane & Debra Stachler, Michigan and Daniel & Mona Stachler, Greenville, Ohio. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother David. He was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church, men's holy name of the church, Wendelin Sportsmans Club and Coldwater F.O.E. 3025. He retired from the from the former New Idea Plant in Coldwater. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM on Monday, August 01, 2011 at St. Marys Catholic Church, Philothea, Ohio with Fr. Barry Stechschulte, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Marys Cemetery, Philothea Ohio.
