Donald Roth, age 87, of Coldwater, Ohio, died on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at Wapakoneta Manor. He was born April 8, 1927 in Coldwater, Ohio to the late Joseph & Eleanora (Fox) Roth. On February 6, 1960, he married Phyllis A. (Heigel), and she died November 2, 2013. He is survived by two daughters, Marilou & Terry Slone of Coldwater and Beth & Greg Gerber of Richfield, five grandchildren, Olivia, David, Anna, Margaret and Samuel, two brothers, Lavern Roth and Robert Roth and a sister-in-law Pat Roth. He is preceded in death by brothers Harold & Wilfred. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, and the Coldwater K of C, was a 1945 graduate of Coldwater High School and was an avid gardener, reader and Browns fan. Donald retired from the former New Idea Plant in Coldwater. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Holy Trinity Church, Coldwater. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery. Condolences may be left at hogenkampfh.com.
