Donald H. Leffler, age 82, of Celina, Ohio passed away at 4:45a.m. Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at Lima Memorial Hospital Lima, Ohio. He was born on February 09, 1929 in Celina , Ohio to the late Howard and Opal (Lechliter) Leffler.

On Dec. 29, 1979 he married Carolyn Baucher, who lives in Celina. Also surviving are his children Carol Gorn of Bluffton, S.C., Dean & Sue Leffler of Yorba Linda, Ca. Pam & Ed Pitoniak of Hilton Head S.C., Shari & Scott Shelby of Cincinnati, Ohio Mitchell Detrick of Celina, Douglas Detrick of Marietta, Ga., 12 Grandchildren 5 Great Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife Dorothy Sheets.

He graduated from Celina High School. He worked for his father at Howard Leffler and Son Construction. Owned and operated Lima Building Products until he retired in 2000. He was a Boy Scout Master for several years. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Celina, and a member and the Treasurer of the Mercer County Sportsmens Association. Funeral services will be at 10:30 AM on Friday, August 19, 2011 at the First Presbyterian Church in Celina, with Rev. Jeff Conrad officiating. Burial will be in North Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8p.m. on Thursday August 18, 2011 at the Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina. Condolences may be made at LHDfuneralhome.com.
