Donald D. Henkle, age 83, formerly of Mendon, Ohio passed away at 3:00a.m. Saturday, April 05, 2014, at the Lima Convalescent Home in Lima, Ohio. He was born on September 11, 1930 in Rockford, Ohio to the late Wilbur and Olyvia (Shindeldecker) Henkle.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents, his step father Joseph Joyce and two brothers Richard Henkle and Robert Henkle.

He was a former member of St. Teresa's Catholic Church in Rockford and a member of St. Charles Catholic Church in Lima.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, April 09, 2014 at the Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina, Ohio, with Fr. Kenneth G. Alt C.PP.S. officiating. Burial will follow at Mercer Memory Gardens in Celina. Friends may call at the Funeral Home 1 hour before services. Memorials may be made to the St. Teresa's Catholic Church in Rockford.
