Diane M. Otting, age 57, of 8427 SR 119 Maria Stein, Ohio, died Thursday, February 28, 2013, at Community Hospital in Coldwater. She had been ill for 24 days. She was born May 21, 1955, in Coldwater to the late Harold & Delores (Mescher) Quinter Schwieterman. She survives in Maria Stein. She was also preceded in death by a Step-Father Roger Schwieterman. On October 12, 1973, she married Robert Otting who survives along with their children. Robb & Gail Otting of Minster, Bruce & Amy Otting of St. Henry and Stephanie & Andy Eilerman of Ft. Loramie. She is survived by five grandchildren. A grandson Connor Otting is deceased.

Other survivors include sister Deb & John "Otis" Albers of New Bremen, along with Step-Sisters Sandy Stutzenstein of Toledo and Laura & Kevin Griesdorn of Maria Stein, Step-Brothers Bob "Buster" & Linda Schwieterman of Chickasaw, Jeff & Marcia Schwieterman of St. Rose and Kurt Schwieterman of Lima.

Diane was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church of Maria Stein, the Ladies Sodality of the church, and a 1973 graduate of Marion Local High School. She was employed by ABloom Flowers in New Bremen as a floral designer.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM Tuesday, March 5 at St. John the Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will be Monday, March 4 from 2:00-8:00 PM and from 9:00-10:00 AM Tuesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Minster.
