Dean J. Strawn, age 66, of 1310 State Route 29 Celina, Ohio passed away at 5:40a.m. on Wednesday Feb.1, 2012 at the Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. He was born on Nov. 10, 1945 in Van Wert County to the late Harley & Erma (Harp) Strawn. On April 23, 1993 he married Carel Snyder, who lives in Celina. He is survived by his sister-in-law Twila & Russell Lehman of Rockford and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers Tennyson Strawn and Jerry Strawn. Dean graduated from Ohio City High School in 1964. He was a Co-Owner and operator of the Chat Home Restaurant for 34 years. He was a member of the V.F.W. & American Legion in Celina and Rockford, Celina Moose Lodge, Eagles in Celina and Rockford and the American Motorcyclist Association. Dean was an avid rider for over 40 years. Funeral services will be held at 11:00a.m. on Saturday February 4, 2012 at the Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina, with Pastor Randy Swanson officiating.
