Dean A. Kerns

Dean A. Kerns, age 62, of Minster, died Saturday, November 17, 2018 at his home. He was born February 1, 1956 in Piqua, to the late Ralph & Jewel (Long) Kerns. On October 24, 1987, he married Terrie (Yount) in Covington and she survives in Minster. He is survived by a son Michael Kerns of Minster; a Brother Mike & Gwen Kerns of Vandalia; and in-laws Sandy Kerns, Cathy Kerns, Jean Kerns, Richard & Marilyn Yount and John & Pauline Yount.

He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster where he was a member of the Men’s Choir and F.O.E. 1391, Minster. Dean was retired Course Superintendent at Arrowhead Golf Club, a Tribute Cup Champion and avid Browns fan.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster with Fr. Frankline Rayappa officiating. Burial will follow in St. Augustine Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, November 20, and from 9 to 9:30 AM on Wednesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
