Dawn (Johnson) Simon age 75 of Celina, passed away Thursday, July 20, 2023 at Celina Manor. She was born on January 30, 1948 to Sally (Boone) Gezzer of Elyria, OH and the late Don Johnson. She married James ‘Jim’ Simon and he preceded her in 2019. She is survived by her three children, Amy Walker of Dunbar, Pennsylvania, Michael & Sandra Walker of Louisville, Kentucky and Jennifer & Jeff Miller of Lima, Ohio; step-children, Ancilean & Roger Boyer, Deborah & David Heinfeld, and Tina & Chris Welker all of Celina, Ohio. 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. Dawn was a nurse and loved to read and always enjoyed quilting and sewing. A memorial service will be held at 2 pm Friday, July 28, 2023 at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater.
