David 'Spock' Bertke, age 46, of Montezuma OH, died on Monday, November 14, 2011 at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton, Ohio. He was born March 07, 1965 in Coldwater, Ohio to Dennis Bertke who survives in Maria Stein, Ohio and the late Ruth (Huecker) Bertke. Spock is survived by his brothers and sisters Jerry (Janie) Bertke of Coldwater, Ohio, Ted (Dianna) Bertke of Celina, Ohio, Jan (Ron) Hertel of Celina, Ohio, Kenneth (Kathy) Bertke of Versailles, Ohio, John (Karen) Bertke of Celina, Ohio, Nick (Lin) Bertke of Troy, Ohio, Betty (Brian) Rembacki of Coldwater, Ohio, Kay (Don) Homan of New Bremen, Ohio, Norman (Tiffany) Bertke of Columbus, Ohio, Scott (Annie) Bertke of Columbus, Ohio and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by a brother Michael 'Chicken' Bertke. He was a member of the Celina Moose Lodge, Wolf Racing Team, Celina Music Bowling League and a veteran of the US Army. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM on Thursday, November 17, 2011 at St. John Catholic Church, Maria Stein, Ohio. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery, Maria Stein Ohio.
