Daniel S. Pleiman age 77, of Minster, Ohio died on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at St. Rita’s Hospital, Lima Ohio. He was born on September 26, 1948, in Sidney, Ohio to the late Leonard & Marcella (Riethman) Pleiman. He married Ellen Doenges on October 6, 1973, in St. Augustine Church Minster. She survives in Minster. He is also survived by children: Rodney & Annette Pleiman, New Bremen, Kimberly & Scott Sherman, Minster, grandchildren: Gavin, Greyson, Gabrielle, Eli, Beau, Maddox, Lexi, brothers and sisters: Janet & Jim Murray, Miamisburg, Marcia Homan, Kettlersville, Tom & Donna, Pleiman, Sidney, Ron & Jan Pleiman, Timnath, CO, in-law Fred Bruns, Englewood, Deb & Marv Meade, Troy, Dave & Sue Doenges, Minster, Joan & Nick Grieshop, Osgood. He was preceded in death by daughter Robyn Pleiman, siblings, Harold & Angela Pleiman, Deb Bruns and in-law Lavern Homan. Dan was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster F.O. E #1391, Minster, and K of C, Minster. He was the co-owner and operator of Far Motors, Minster. He enjoyed fishing and loved following his kids and grandchildren’s activities. Dan was a veteran of the US Army during the Vietnam War. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 AM Friday, July 17, 2026, at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster, Ohio. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster, on Thursday, July 16, 2026, from 4 to 7 PM and on Friday, July 17 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Minster Area Life Squad. Condolences may be left at www.hogenkampfh.com.
