Daniel E. Menchhofer, age 36, of 5561 St Rt 49, Ft. Recovery, Ohio, died at 10:51 PM on Monday, August 20, 2012 at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater, Ohio. He was born January 24, 1976 in Coldwater, Ohio to James & Cheri (Stump) Menchhofer, who survive in Coldwater, Ohio. On April 18, 1998 he married Kellie (Brown), and she survives in Ft. Recovery, Ohio. He is survived by three children, Austin, Noah and Libbie Menchhofer, all at home, two siblings, Kelly & Jeff Sheets of Celina, Ohio and Jeff & Britt Menchhofer of Rockford, Ohio, grandparents, Jim & Helen Stump of Ft. Recovery, Ohio, parents-in-law, Kevin & Karen (Raffel) Brown of Coldwater, Ohio and sisters-in-law, Jamie & Chris Kelley of Columbus, Ohio, Katie & Chris Layne of Coldwater, Ohio and Abbie & Jeff Hart of Celina, Ohio. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Coldwater, a former Boy Scout Leader and he restored tractors. He worked at Lefeld Implement in Coldwater. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, August 24, 2012 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, St. Anthony, Ohio. Friends may call on Thursday from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home-Coldwater. Memorials may be made to a fund for the children's education.
