Cyril F. Niekamp, age 78, of Celina, died Thursday, July 23, 2015 at Lima Memorial Hospital. He was born November 8, 1936 in St. Sebastian to the late Alfred & Martha (Deppen) Niekamp. On January 12, 1957, he married Wavalene (Barga), who survives in Celina. Also surviving are a son, Chris Niekamp of Wapakoneta, daughter, Lori Heckler of Celina, brothers and sisters, Ruth & Evart Dorsten of Celina, Nita & Joe DeLillis of Dayton, Jan & Ed Imwalle of Florida, Moe & Diane Niekamp of New Bremen, Dale & Shirley Niekamp of Coldwater, Mike & Brenda Niekamp of Celina and Larry & Betty Niekamp of Minster and in-laws, Audrey Niekamp of Chickasaw, Iris Bolen of Greenville and Bessie Barga of Versailles. He was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Larry Heckler, a brother, Don Niekamp, two sisters, Bernice & Mark Kremer and Doris Niekamp and in-laws, Delbert Barga and Bob Bolen. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Montezuma the Southshore Sportsmen club, loved outdoor activities and ran the New Bremen Rod & Gun Club for many years. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, July 27, 2015 at Our Lady of Guadalupe, Montezuma. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Guadalupe Cemetery. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater on Sunday from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
