Cyril J. Link, age 92, of 20 Chestnut St, Burkettsville OH, died 04:24 AM on Friday, August 26, 2011 at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater, Ohio. He was born March 31, 1919 in Celina, Ohio to Henry and Kunagunda (Klingshirn) Link. On November 17, 1945 he married Pauline (Puthoff) in Maria Stein, Ohio and she died June 15, 2000. Cyril is survived by six children, Barbara & Robert Bertke, Pioneer, Ohio, Carol Schmidt, Union City, Ohio, Patricia Link, East Orland, Maine, Diane Jobe, Toledo, Ohio, Rose Link, Findlay, Ohio and Roger Link, Burkettsville, Ohio, 16 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, brother Eugene & Loretta Link, Rossburg, Ohio and in-laws Merinus & Alice Puthoff, Maria Stein, Ohio and Agnes Puthoff, St. Henry, Ohio. He is preceded in death by his wife, parents, son Thomas Link, daughter Alice Jean Link, son-in-law Vincent Schmidt, 1 great grandson, sister Irene Zahn and in-laws, Urban Zahn, Ray Puthoff, Norbert & Esther Puthoff, Eleanor & Wilfred Fortman , Henry & Evelyn Puthoff, Scott & Harlene Puthoff and Richard Puthoff. He was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church, Burkettsville, Ohio. He was a retired farmer and Bus Driver for St. Henry Schools. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM on Monday, August 29, 2011 at St. Bernard Catholic Church, Burkettsville, Ohio with Fr. Tom Hemm, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Cranberry Prairie Ohio. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home-St. Henry on Sunday from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
