Clarine P. Liette, age 96, formerly of St. Henry, died on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Clare Bridge of Greenville. She was born March 17, 1918 in Allen Twp., Darke County, to the late George & Rose Matilda (Stammen) Buehler. On April 26, 1941, she married Clarence Butch' Liette, who died September 8, 2002. She is survived by seven children, Patricia & Jerome Clune of Maria Stein, Daniel & Veronica Liette of Huber Heights, Tom Liette & Deb Wagner of St. Henry, Richard & Dixie Liette of Tipp City, Joyce & Matthew Hart of Greenville, June & Tom Eisert of Lima, and Kenneth & Deborah Liette of Union City , nineteen grandchildren, forty-nine great-grandchildren, two sisters, Mary Thobe of Maria Stein and Phyllis & Cyril Evers of St. Henry, and in-laws, Marcene Buehler of Ft. Recovery, Kate Dues of St. Henry and Mary Liette of Burkettsville. She is preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Dottie Liette, brothers and sisters, Clarence & Rose Buehler, Evelyn & Ben Bruening, Walter & Alvina Buehler, Dorothy & Alvin Raterman, Virginia & Bob Stupp and Ed Buehler and in-laws, Werner Thobe, Edward Post, Emerita & Andrew Greer, Dorothy Schaefer, Loretta & Bob Stammen, Rosa & Leon Hein, Bill & Ruth Liette, Cy Dues, Hubert Pete' Liette, Marge & Joe Schmidt, and Norbert & Sally Liette. She was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church, its Ladies Sodality and its Prayer Chain. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Thursday, March 5, 2015 at St. Henry Catholic Church, St. Henry, Ohio. Burial will follow in the St. Louis Cemetery, North Star, Ohio. Friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday and 9:00 to 10:00 AM on Thursday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in St. Henry.
