Clarence B. Tuente, age 84 of Overman Rd. Maria Stein, died January 4, 2013 at his home. He was born March 30, 1928 in Maria Stein to the late Henry & Agatha (Riethman) Tuente. He married Dorothy K. Kuess on September 2, 1950 in St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster, Ohio. She preceded him in death on May 20, 1995. He is survived by daughters, Kathy & Wayne Gruebmeyer, New Bremen, Elaine & Werner Heckman, Maria Stein, Karen & Richard Scott, Maria Stein, special friend Yolanda Schmiesing, New Bremen and her family, 12 grandchildren & 7 great grandchildren, sister Irene Evers, St. Henry, in-laws Betty & Aloys Jutte, Osgood, Mildred & Edwin Prenger, Coldwater, Ernest & Gladys Kuess, Coldwater, Elmer Kuess, Celina, Esther Kuess, Chickasaw, Delores Muhlenkamp, Portland, IN, Irene & Paul Heckman, Delhart, TX. He was preceded in death by brother Walter Tuente, in-laws Henry Evers, Lavern Kuess, Irma Kuess & Alvin Muhlenkamp. He was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church, St. Rose, a member of the Men's Sodality of the Church. He was past president of the Knights of St. John, Maria Stein, past president of the New Bremen Senior Citizens and a member of Minster F.O.E. 1391. He was a lifelong farmer and a school bus driver for Marion Local Schools. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30AM Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at St. Rose Catholic Church with Rev. Thomas Brenberger celebrant. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, January 8, 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM on Wednesday, January 9.
