Clarence H. Heuing, age 86, of Wendelin, died on Friday, September 3, 2021, at Briarwood Village in Coldwater. He was born April 20, 1935, in Wendelin to the late William & Anna (Feldhake) Heuing. On May 3, 1975, he married Shirley (Deis) Heuing and she passed away December 30, 2015. Clarence is survived by a daughter Cindy & Andrew Dobmeyer of Coldwater, four grandchildren Ava, Rileigh, Bennett, & Amelia, a sister and a brother, Luella & Ed Homan of Coldwater and Lavern Heuing of Celina, and in-laws: Ginger & Rich Wald of Greensboro, NC, Richard Deis of Kettering, and Paul T. & Maureen Deis of Jamestown.
He is preceded in death by a daughter Kristie Heuing, and in-laws, Margery Heuing, and Rita Deis.
He was a member of St. Wendelin Catholic Church, The Heritage Club, and was a Veteran of the U.S. National Guard. Clarence was a devoted husband, and a loving dad and grandpa. He was a lifelong farmer, spending his whole life on his family’s farm.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at St. Wendelin Church. Burial with military honors will follow in St. Wendelin Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday, September 7, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in St. Henry.
