Catherine S. Overholser, age 91, formerly of Coldwater and Dayton, died on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at Trinity Community Health Care in Beavercreek. She was born August 2, 1922 in Dayton to the late Henry & Catherine (Boeckman) DeWinter. On June 12, 1948 she married Howard L. Overholser in Dayton and he survives in Beavercreek. She is survived by two daughters and sons in law Carolyn (Alan) Weaver of Beavercreek and Joan (David) Groth of Urbana, Missouri, five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She is also preceded in death by brothers Henry & Robert and a sister Margaret Rose. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, and the Coldwater Legion Auxiliary. She worked as a secretary at NCR in Dayton, where she met her husband Howard. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 2:00 pm on Monday, September 23, 2013 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Coldwater. Burial will be in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater. Friends may call from 12:30 to 1:30 pm on Monday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater. Condolences may be left at hogenkampfh.com.
