Carolyn M. Wolfe

July 15, 1940 — July 8, 2015

Carolyn Marie Wolfe, age 74, of Montezuma passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 in the ICU at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. Her kind and generous soul will be sorely missed by all. She was born July 15, 1940 in New Bremen, to the late Wally & Rosella (Oldiges) Schaefer. On January 19, 1963 she married Kenneth Gordie' Wolfe, who survives in Monetzuma. Carolyn worked for Fisher Cheese for a brief period before being employed at Huffy's in Celina. She worked there until her retirement after nearly 33 years. She was a resident of the Montezuma area for over 50 years. Also surviving, in addition to her husband, Gordon, are two sons, Ralph & Deborah Wolfe of Waterford, Michigan, and Brian Wolfe of Montezuma, a granddaughter, Christine & John Robertson of Waterford, Michigan, two sisters, Rosanne Myer of Celina and Louise Jones of Cassopolis, Michigan, one brother, John Schaefer of St. Marys and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater. Friends may call from 3:00 to 7:00 PM on Friday and from 1:00 to 3:00 PM on Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Cancer Association of Mercer County.
