Carlos "Moon" Mullins, age 70, of 8524 Rice Rd. Celina, Ohio, passed away at 9:02p.m. on Friday Dec. 13, 2013 at the Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys. He was born on April 5, 1943 in Hunter Kentucky to the late Jona & Menda (Hall) Mullins. On Dec. 24, 1963 he married Carol J. Rasberry, who lives in Celina. Also surviving are his children Jona Scott & Angela Mullins of Cleveland, Brett & Amy Mullins of Waynesfield, Randy C. Mullins of Celina, Tracy & Basil Richardson of Ottawa, Ontario, 11 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, his two brothers Clyde Mullins of Chillicothe, Johnnie & Lylis Mullins of Kentucky and his two sisters Angie & Curtis Prater and Ada & Phillip Lucas, both of Kentucky. He was preceded in death by four brothers Donald Gene Mullins, Bert Mullins, Curt Mullins, Claude Mullins and a sister Elizabeth Martin. Carlos served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War for three years and then served in the National Guard for four years. He was a member of the Celina American Legion Post #210. He formerly worked for the Celina Police Department and the Mercer County Sheriff Auxiliary. He was an owner and operator of Two Moons Express Trucking Company in Celina. Funeral services will be held at 11:00a.m. on Wednesday Dec. 18, 2013 at the Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina, with Rev. Bruce Head officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Mendon, with Military Honors by the Celina American Legion Post and the Celina V. F.W. Post.
