Bryan A. Schlater age 30 of North Star Ohio died at 6:35 AM on Monday, September 8, 2014 at his home. He was born on April 8, 1984 in Coldwater Ohio to Ronald & Karen (Bensman) Schlater. They survive in St. Henry, Ohio. He married Mandy Bruns on March 7, 2009 in Chickasaw, Ohio. She survives in North Star. Also surviving are their children Parker & Kinley, both at home. He is also survived by brothers & sister Matt & Krissy Schlater, Dublin, Ohio, Craig & Abby Schlater, St. Henry, Kyle & Julie Schlater, Ft. Recovery & Lynnea Schlater, St. Henry, 5 nieces and nephews and Mandy's parents, Dan & Mary Bruns, Chickasaw, sister-in-law Shelly & Corey Thobe, Delaware, Ohio, grandfathers Ken Schlater, St. Henry, & Lester Bensman, Coldwater. He was preceded in death by his grandmothers Phyllis Bensman & Marilyn Schlater. He was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church, North Star. He was a graduate of St. Henry High School in 2003 and was employed at Master Machine Rebuilders, New Bremen. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 Friday September 12, 2014 at St. Louis Catholic Church, North Star with Rev. David Zink celebrant. Burial will take place in St. Louis Cemetery.
