Brema P. Stose, age 94, of 201 Magnolia St. in Celina, passed away at 9:50a.m. on Tuesday Sept. 25, 2012 at the Celina Manor Nursing Home in Celina. She was born on Aug. 2, 1918 in Pandora, Ohio to the late Arthur & Vesta (Dukes) Kerns. On January 20, 1968 she married Mark Stose, who died on Feb. 24, 2000. Survivors include her sons & daughters-in-law Dr. William & Donna Stall of Gainsville, Florida, Michael & Jane Stall of leipsic, daughter & son-in-law Robyn & James Fort of Marietta, GA., two step son & daughters-in-law Donald & Karen Stose of Clayton, Pam Stose of Celina, step daughter & son-in-law Barbara & Richard Vorhees of Celina, 18 grandchildren, 27great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her 1st husband G. Dorel Stall, step-son Everett Stose and her sister Betty Kerns. Brema graduated from Blanchard Twp. High School, Putnam County then received her B.S. from Bluffton College, she was a member of Pi Delta Honor Society. She received her M.S. St. Francis College, Ft. Wayne, she graduated Cum Laude in her class and was the Reading Supervisor at St. Francis. She taught at Columbus Grove, Ohio for 8 years and Parkway Local, Rockford for 17yrs. She was a member of the Ohio Education Assn., National Education Assn., Mercer County Retired Teacher Assn., Ohio Retired Teachers Assn., The University Women's Club, Celina and Delta Kappa Gamma Beta Phi Chapter. She was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Celina and a member of the United Methodist Women. Funeral services will be held at 10:30a.m. on Saturday Sept 29, 2012 at the Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina, with Pastor Kenny Baker officiating.
