Betty Rindler

Elizabeth Y. “Betty” Rindler, age 83, of North Star, Ohio, died on April 6, 2017 at Brethren Retirement Community, Greenville.  She was born November 23, 1933 in Versailles, Ohio to the late Nish & Elsie (Burket) Grillot.   She married Robert Rindler on June 28, 1952, in Versailles, and he survives in North Star.  She is also survived by six children: Larry & Karen Rindler of Jamestown, TN, Sharon & Jim Magoto of Versailles, Ken & Dee Rindler of Ft. Loramie, Alan & June Rindler of Versailles, Lisa & Barry Bohman of St. Henry, and Joyce & Pat Kelly of Springboro.  Betty is also survived by 16 grandchildren, and 29 great grandchildren; and a sister in-law: Dorothy Grillot of Alpena, MI.  Betty is preceded in death by a grandson, Chad Garrison, and a brother Billy Grillot.  She was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church, North Star, and its Ladies Auxiliary.  Betty did upholstery work at her home for more than 20 years, even serving clients from Dayton and Cincinnati.  She enjoyed riding in the side car of Bob’s motorcycle, and spending time at their cabin in Tennessee.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at St. Louis Catholic Church, North Star with Fr David Zink presiding.  Burial will follow in St. Louis Cemetery, North Star.  The family will receive friends following the burial, in the St. Louis Church Basement.   Condolences may be left at hogenkampfh.com.
