Betty L. (Reese) DeAnthony, age 86, of 1504 Fanning Court, Celina OH, died on Tuesday, January 03, 2012 at Briarwood Village, Coldwater, Ohio. She was born November 19, 1925 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Elwood W. and Rose M. (Volmer) Reese. On May 29, 1946 she married Robert J. DeAnthony in Dayton, Ohio and he died November 10, 2007. Betty is survived by three children, Joyce & Carl Johnson of Celina, Ohio, David & Diana DeAnthony of Piffard, NY and Tom DeAnthony of Rochester, NY, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by one grandchild. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, Ohio and volunteered at Mercer County Community Hospital, State of the Heart Hospice and Mercer County Senior citizens. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM on Friday, January 06, 2012 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, Ohio with Fr. Richard Walling, officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Dayton Ohio. Memorials may be directed to State of the Heart Hospice 230 W. Main ST Coldwater, Ohio 45828. Condolences may be left at hogenkampfh.com.
