Betty J. Hatfield

Betty J. (Schmiesing) Hatfield age 74, of Minster, Ohio died on Friday, September 4, 2026 after a long illness at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys Ohio. She was born on September 20, 1951 to the late Eugene & Irene (Meyer) Schmiesing. She married Carl Hatfield on October 10 1972 and he survives in Minster. She is also survived by 2 sons, Keith & Mary Hatfield Tipp City, Brian & Kari Hatfield, Milton, Delaware, 5 grandchildren, siblings: Terri & Don Huelskamp, Maria Stein, Chris & Ted Brandewie, Egypt, OH, Ralph & Dian Nerderman, St. Marys. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Tony, sister, Becky & Dan Schloss. Private family services will be held at a later date.
