On June 15, 1937 she married Norman Edgar Otto Fahncke, who died Nov. 5, 1989. Bessie is survived by her daughters & sons-in-law
Donna & William Randall of Auburndale, Florida, Reta Schroeder of Celina, Carolyn Glock of Celina, Linda & Frank Pulskamp of Ostrander, Patty & Jeff Johnson of Mendon, 10 Grandchildren, 18 Great-Grandchildren, 12 Great-Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son-in-law Lowell Schroeder, 2 Dec'd Grandchild Corbin HelenJaris, Brad Randall, brothers Verl Snyder, Dee Snyder, Darlene Snyder, Lowell Snyder, Sisters Opal Huffman, Arberdeen Fickert, Lena Cook, Lela Felver, Bonita Dietsch, and her Twin sister Jessie Sapp.
Bessie graduated with the class of 1937 from Rockford High School, shortly after graduating she worked at the Rockford Canning Factory. Then she worked at Goodyear in St. Marys for 25 years until she retired in 1981.
Bessie was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Celina, a member of the Ladies Aid at the church & member a Faithful member of the Woman's Group at Church. She was a member of The Celina Eastern Star #91 and active with the Celina Council on Aging.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 on Monday Oct. 14, 2013 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Celina, with Rev. Jeff Gramza and Rev. Sharon Stonerock officiating. Burial will follow in Mercer Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 2 to 6 on Sunday Oct. 13, 2013 at the Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home and 1 hour before services at the church on Monday. Memorial contributions may be made to State of the Heart Home Health & Hospice. Condolences may be made at Lhdfuneralhome.com.
