Austin C. Knapke

Austin C. Knapke age 22 of Minster, Ohio passed away at 12:05 PM on Wednesday December 23, 2015 at his home. He was born in Coldwater on June 30, 1993 to Dave and Deb (Kuess) Knapke. They survive in Minster. He is also survived by brothers & sister: Aaron & Abby Knapke, Minster, Abby & Craig Schlater, Versailles, Andrew Knapke and Adam Knapke both at home, a niece Olivia and a nephew Luke, grandparents Othmar & Nancy Jean Kuess, Celina, Norma and the late Mark Knapke, Cranberry Prairie. He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster. He graduated from Minster High School in 2012 and from Wright State University with an honorary degree. He was a member of the 2011 and 2012 Minster High School Baseball State Championship Teams. He coached youth baseball and basketball and worked for Center Seeds. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 AM on Tuesday December 29, 2015 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster with Rev. Rick Nieberding and Rev. Thomas Hemm Con-celebrants. Burial will take place in St. Augustine Cemetery. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, December 28, 2015 and from 9:00 to 9:30 AM on Tuesday, December 29, 2015.
