Austin J. Brackman age 18, of Minster, Ohio died as a result of an accident on Saturday, November 29, 2014 in Shelby County. He was born on October 8, 1996 in Coldwater, Ohio to James & Kathleen (Link) Brackman. They survive in Minster. He is also survived by sister Karen Brackman, Ft. Collins, CO, brothers Matthew Brackman and friend Lynn Sherman and Jordan both at home, grandparents Ivo & Jean Brackman, Maria Stein. He was preceded in death by grandparents Louis & Eulalia Link. He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster where he was a Mass Server. He was a member of the Minster Golf Team for 4 years and competing as an individual at State Golf Meet, 3 years on the Minster Track Team competing in State, 3 years on the Minster Basketball Team and just started the season on the Minster Bowling Team. Austin was an Honor Student, a member of the Teen RC, he loved playing golf fishing and competing with his friends. He also enjoyed time with his family & friends. Austin's giving and caring nature continued with his gift of being an organ and tissue donor. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster with Rev. Rick Nieberding celebrant. Burial will take place in St. Augustine Cemetery. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 and from 9:00 to 9:30 AM on Wednesday, December 3, 2014.
