Arthur E. Muhlenkamp, 87, died at home at Lake Loramie, Ohio, on Friday, October 20, 2017. Born in New Weston, Ohio, August 14, 1930, to Aloys and Elizabeth (Thobe) Muhlenkamp. Art proudly served in the USAF from January 1951 through January 1955. He retired from IBM in Dayton March, 1986. He lived in Fairborn, Ohio until 1985, when he and his wife, Connie, purchased and moved to Vinterra Winery in Houston. Ohio
Preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Stephanie Sizemore; grandson, Jared Larson; siblings: ½ brother, Ralph; sister, Priscilla (Frank) Bochenek; brothers, Eugene, LeRoy (Jackie), sister, Isabelle (Jim) Templeton. Survived by his wife, Connie, children, Raymond (Nong), Thailand; Harold, Troy, Ohio; Deborah (Gary) Larson, Lawler, Iowa; step-children, Linda West, The Villages, Florida; Elaine (Scott) Bauer, Xenia; Mark, Dayton; 14 surviving grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and various nieces and nephews.
In accordance with his wishes, Art’s body was donated to Wright State University’s Anatomical Donation Program in Fairborn, Ohio.
Visitation will be at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in McCartyville, Ohio (9377 State Route 119 W, Anna), from 5:00 to 8:00 pm, Thursday, October 26 with a Memorial Service on Friday, October 27th 10:30 am at the Church.
