Arthur Alan Craven, age 83 of 225 Eastview Dr. in Celina, Ohio passed away at 6:05p.m. on Saturday June 1, 2013 at the Mercer County Community Hospital in Coldwater, Ohio. He was born on Sept. 28, 1929 in Bucyrus, Ohio to the late Robert E. & Mary (Campbell) Craven. On Feb. 6, 1954 he married Vada V. Mc Clelland, who lives in Celina. Also surviving are his four sons & daughters-in-law Jeff & Hallie Craven of Celina, Randy & Marilyn Craven of Fulton, IN, Robert & Sue Craven of Houston, TX, Dana & Lynn Craven of Parkersburg, WV, two grandchildren Phillip Howell Craven, Arthur Alan Craven and his brothers George Craven of Colma, MI, and James Craven of Pastukla, LA. He was preceded in death by his brothers Donald Craven, John Craven and Daniel Craven . Arthur served his country in the United States Army During the Korean War as a Lineman. He retired from G.T.E. in 1995 after 43 years of service. He was a member of the St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Celina, the Celina Masonic Lodge #241 F.&A.M., Royal Arch Masons of Celina, Order of Eastern Stars #91 of Celina, Scottish Rite Valley of Dayton Chapter, Mercer County Sportsman Association and the V.F.W. Post # 5713 of Celina. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday June 6, 2013 at the St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Celina, with Rev. Matt Overman officiating. Burial will follow in Mercer Memory Gardens in Celina, with Military Honors by the Celina American Legion Post #210 and the Celina V.F.W. Post #5713. Friends may call from 2-4 &6-8p.m. on Wednesday June 5, 2013 at the Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina. V.F.W. Post #5713 membership services will be held at 7:00p.m. on Wednesday and Masonic Lodge services will be held at 8:00p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
