Antoinette E. Garrity, age 87, of St. Henry, died on Friday, December 5, 2014 at Kindred Hospital, Dayton. She was born October 1, 1927 in Cranberry Prairie, to the late Ferdinand & Mary (Lefeld) Roessner. On May 1, 1948, she married Richard T. Garrity, and he died December 6, 2000. She is survived by five children, Rick & Deb Garrity of California, Craig & Gail Garrity of Celina, Terrance & Joyce Garrity of Coldwater, Deborah Garrity of St. Henry and Kevin Garrity of St. Henry, a daughter-in-law, Kathy Garrity of Celina, eleven grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She is preceded in death by a son, Christopher Garrity, brothers and sisters, Rita Koester, Loretta Schroer, Thomas Roessner and Bruno Roessner, and a brother-in-law, John Garrity. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, the Celina V.F.W. and American Legion Auxiliaries and was retired from Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton. She enjoyed cooking and being with family and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 am Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at Holy Trinity Church, Coldwater. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater. Friends may call from 3:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday and 9:00 to 10:00 am on Tuesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
