Anna M. Wappelhorst, age 84, of Coldwater, died on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at The Gardens at Celina. She was born July 16, 1929 in St. Marys, Ohio to the late Charles & Mary Anna (Newland) Burden. On January 24, 1948 she married Carl R. Wappelhorst and he died January 9, 2012. She is survived by five children Gary & Sherry Wappelhorst of Ft. Recovery, Ohio, James & Linda Wappelhorst of Alpena, MI, Ernest Wappelhorst of Rome, Italy, Linda & Jim Hawkins of Celina, Ohio and Rita Barr of Chicago, IL, eleven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by 2 grandchildren, two brothers, Leo and William and two sisters, Pearl and Bertha. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, and was retired from the former Huffy Corp. in Celina. Private family services will be held. Burial will be in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater. Memorials may be made to State of the Heart Hospice. Condolences may be left at hogenkampfh.com.
