Ann Berning Monnin

Ann Berning Monnin age 82 of McCartyville, Ohio, died on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at Otterbein St. Marys, Ohio.  She was born on February 22, 1942 in Piqua, Ohio to the late Dillon & Antonette (Peltier) Baugher.  She married John Berning on September 21, 1963 and he preceded her in death on July 2, 1995.  She married Verl Monnin on October 16, 1998 and he survives in St. Marys. She is also survived by children: Bill & Terri Berning, Jerry & Elaine Berning, Marcia & Bruce Etzler, David & Terri Bering & Ted & Monica Berning, all of McCartyville, step children: Paula & Wes Strong, Deltona, FL, Brian Monnin & Jodi Steger, Minster, Nick Monnin & Sheri Smith, Troy, 15 grandchildren 22 great grandchildren & numerous step grandchildren & step great grandchildren: sisters: Jean Meier, Indian Lake, Teresa & John Freisthler, Sidney, sister-in-law Chris Baugher, Russia. She was preceded in death by brother: Joe Baugher. Ann was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, McCartyville, the Rosary Altar Sodality, Swinging Seniors Dancers, Red Hat Society, Girls Card Club, and Russia Group Couples since High School. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, September 23, 2024 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, McCartyville with burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster on Sunday, September 22, 2024 from 1 to 4 PM and on Monday from 9 to 10:00 AM at SACRED HEART CHURCH.
