Anita D Esser

Anita D. Esser, age 66, of Botkins, Ohio, died on Friday, November 14, 2025 at OSU East Hospital, Columbus, Ohio, surrounded by her family. She was born on March 2, 1959 in Sidney, Ohio to the late Fred & Rose (Bey) Esser. She is survived by brothers & sisters: Larry & Virginia Esser, Fort Loramie, Steve & Diane Esser, Anna, Karen & Steve Zimmerman, Fort Loramie, Sandy & Curt Wells, Anna, Jeannie & Ron Bergman, Botkins, Doug & Jenny Esser, Sidney, Randy & Amy Esser, Anna, John Esser, Sidney, Aunt Agnes Luthman, Botkins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Kenneth Esser, many aunts, uncles and friends. Anita formerly worked at Reliable Casting & Lear in Sidney. She was a lifelong member at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, McCartyville. To know Anita was to know that she loved unconditionally. Her heart was made of gold. She would do anything for anyone. The apple of her eye was her nieces and nephews. Anita loved everyone. She especially loved veterans. She started the Facebook Page (Thank a Veteran Past and Present) She created a lunch/bingo for veterans at the Anna American Legion for the last 4 years. Her and a few special people made this a huge success. Anita loved her years she lived in Florida. She will be missed immensely. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM Saturday, November 22, 2025 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, McCartyville, with burial to follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery The family will receive friends on Saturday from 9:30 until the time of Mass.
